Man we had a blast at the Deathsquad comedy showcase last night! Won the free tix and said eff’ it, let’s send em’ some stuff along for providing us w/ crazy entertainment free of charge and sho’ nuff, you put some good stuff out into the universe and it responded w/ an awesome shout out on Deathsquad Podcast #17 courtesy of Redban and Little Esther about 59 minutes in. So we got some free tickets from @Redband and my posters inspired by the JRE podcast arrived last night… Check it out. Pretty sure drawing it in pencil, then photoshop, then flash may have given me carpal tunnel but it was worth it, they came out great.

Photoshoot today, couldn’t sleep. Made a drink, popped some vitamins and got to work. Brought up the shuffle mix on iTunes and Nirvana’s Dumb came up first at bat, nice.

Quick update on Twilight Night. Here’s a work in progress of the character Olz. We’ve got to spread the shoulders drop them a bit to go along with the idea of some underlying anatomy (in animation, pretty much everything is a fake) but even at this state, the pieces seem to be coming together. Hopefully we’ll keep on track to upload the previs version soon, at the very least the first half take of it.

After 40 or so contestants vying for free shirts we’ve closed the October t-shirt giveaway and we’ve locked in the players who we’ll be drawing during the photo shoot of the look-book. We’ve got an awesome photgrapher in the amazing Sisilia Piring and it’s going to be sweet. To get in yourself, just like us on Facebook.

So I got put on blast for being silly with those things, what are they called, like it’s when letters get grouped together to symbolize or make sounds or meanings and stuff… I’ll think of it later.
Anyways, it led to a quick 5 minute experiment, it’s lame but I don’t know, I kind of like it somehow.

First off, pardon the humblebrag but after meeting the awesome Little Esther in person I now know I take hugs as awkwardly and unexpectedly as I take a compliment. Also, not to humblebrag about my humblebrag but if there was an award for humblebrags, I would totally win first place in that sad, sad contest. #winnerinlosing
